Thank you for your interest in joining the 2024-2025 Appellate Moot Court Board (AMCB). The 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 AMCB Executive Boards, with approval from the Faculty Advisory Committee (the Committee), will select new members. The Executive Boards will consider the following factors in selecting members for the 2024-2025 AMCB.

1.   The student's application;

2.   The student's resume;

3.   The student's Legal Research and Writing class performance.

4.   The student's five-minute oral argument of his or her LRW appellate brief and short interview, to be held either April 17th or 18th, 2024.

Notes for Applicants

By signing the application, you are waiving your rights to maintain the confidentiality of your grades and your performance in the Legal Research and Writing program, but note that all information supplied in relation to this application will be kept confidential by the AMCB Executive Boards and the Committee. It is critical that you also take a serious and realistic look at all other commitments you might have during the academic year in order to determine whether you will have sufficient time to devote to the significant academic demands of an appellate moot court competition.

By submitting this application, you are agreeing to cooperate with the AMCB Executive Boards throughout the selection process. This includes submitting an accurate and truthful application packet, as well as participating in a mock oral argument on April 17th or 18th, 2024.
