Pursuing Bigger Goals
With bold new initiatives established and underway from the 2018-2023 Strategic Plan, President Gormley, with his leadership team and the Duquesne community are looking to the horizon – and how to expand it for the benefits of Duquesne students, the community and the region. The University has embraced a call to pursue bigger goals – personally and institutionally – in serving the mission to which generations have committed.
The President’s focus in his second term will be to work with his team to develop the resources necessary to animate Duquesne’s promise to its students, its community and the larger world.
President Ken Gormley is an impassioned leader who recognizes and advocates that central to the University's goals and aspirations is Duquesne's Catholic, Spiritan mission of serving God by serving students so that they, in turn, can serve others.
His leadership team works diligently to move the University forward as a top-tier institution of higher education, a transformative community partner, and a place where students, faculty and staff have opportunities to achieve the highest levels of excellence in all that they do.
