Biography
Dr. Jennifer Elliott is the Ed and Karen Fritzky Endowed Chair in Integrative Medicine
and Wellbeing, Director of the Center for Integrative Health, Division Chief of Integrative
and Community Medicine with the College of Osteopathic Medicine and Associate Professor
of Pharmacy at Duquesne University. She works with schools and offices across the
University and partners throughout the region to facilitate interprofessional and
cross-sector collaborations that improve community health and wellbeing. Elliott
Chairs the annual Fritzky Family Integrative Health Summit which brings together thought
leaders and health experts across disciplines to move medicine forward.
Dr. Elliott has received numerous awards for teaching, research and community impact.
Elliott received the
Creative Teaching Award in 2012 from Duquesne University, the 10 under 10 Award from
the Pennsylvania Pharmacists Association in 2014, the School of Pharmacy Faculty Award
in 2015 and the Scholarship Award in 2016, was inducted into Duquesne University’s
Research Hall of Fame in 2017, was recognized by Pittsburgh Magazine and PUMP as a
40 under 40 honoree in 2018 and the Incline's Who's Next: Education in 2019, and received
Duquesne University’s Presidential Award for Excellence in Service to the Mission
in 2022. Elliott is an active member of the community and serves on several nonprofit
boards and advisory committees.
