Biography
Dr Hinkle earned her BSN from the University of Pittsburgh and her MS and PhD from the University of Michigan. She returned to Pittsburgh in 2025 after living away for more than 30 years to be near her twin sister. Dr Hinkle has extensive experience with personalized learning using adaptive technologies. These technologies change how courses are taught by using computer algorithms to personalize learning to student needs to improve outcomes. She has also explored the impact of AI in education. She plans to continue examining the impact of personalization and the use of technology to deliver interventions to students as well individuals with health needs in the community.
