A lifelong resident of Western Pennsylvania, Steve Groves has become a thriving artist, both as a musician and a photographer.

In 2019, Steve launched his own business, Steve Groves MediaWorks, LLC. Primarily a photography business serving both a business and individual clientele in the Pittsburgh area, Steve Groves MediaWorks also provides other media services including graphic design, website design, consulting, and more.

Combining his love for art, music, and photography, Steve's clients include the Aris Paul Band, Three Rivers Young Peoples Orchestras (TRYPO), the Pittsburgh Jazz Orchestra, Heavy Chest, James Houlik, Mike Tomaro, The Frick Pittsburgh, Laurel Highlands High School, and Red Caiman Media, to name a few. He has also built a large network of individual clients, photographing weddings, family/individual portraits, concerts,  private events, and more.

Currently, Steve serves as the Director of Music Engagement, Events, and Marketing at the Mary Pappert School of Music (Duquesne University), where he is responsible for coordinating and marketing over 200 annual concerts and recitals. In addition, he manages the School of Music's website and social media channels, produces various forms of content for use online and in print materials, and interfaces with other University departments to coordinate events involving the music school.

When Steve is not at work at his day job or as a photographer, he can be found playing trumpet and singing in one of Pittsburgh's favorite local party bands, Uptown Rhythm & Brass.

Steve lives just outside of Pittsburgh with his wife, Melanie, and their two children, Evan and Madison.
