Members of Duquesne University's founding congregation, the U.S. Spiritans, are gathering on campus this week for the U.S. Province General Assembly. Activities include the election process for the provincial, the provincial leadership report and discussion, discussion of the Spiritan mission and pastoral planning, among others.

Additionally, the Rev. Jeffrey T. Duaime, C.S.Sp., a Duquesne alumnus (A'80) and the current provincial for the U.S., was recognized by President Ken Gormley for his years of service around the world with presentation of the McAnulty Service Award. The award has only been bestowed on 26 individuals over the course of Duquesne's 142-year history and pays tribute to selfless service.
