Faculty and staff are invited to attend the second annual Fritzky Family Integrative Health Summit, which will feature panels and presentations from several Duquesne faculty members.  

Scheduled Thursday, Sept. 21, and Friday, Sept. 22, in the Power Center, the multi-disciplinary event will bring together health care professionals who are dedicated to improving patient care through integrative health.  
 
The summit will cover key issues around the role of social determinants in advancing health equity, community-centered approaches to health care, healthy aging and longevity, and the future of integrative health. 
 
In addition to University faculty, the event will feature several of today’s integrative health leaders, including:

  • Dr. Vonda Wright, president of Hughson Orthopedics Southeast 
  • Dr. Matthew Kampert, head of research for Primary Care Sports Medicine 
  • Dr. Johnny Huard, chief scientific officer and director of the Center for Regenerative Sports Medicine.

Physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, health administrators, policy makers and other health practitioners are encouraged to attend, and CE credits are available.
