Over 170 Health Sciences graduates were recognized for their accomplishments on May 5 during the Commencement Ceremony held at the UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse.
Students, families and friends gathered at the UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse to celebrate the accomplishments of the May 2023 graduating class. Graduates in undergraduate and graduate programs had their names announced followed by applause, smiles, and tears of joy.
Dean Fevzi Akinci presided over the ceremony and knows how special of a day this is.
"We are thrilled to welcome families and friends to campus today as we celebrate the accomplishments of our students. Through hard work and dedication, they have achieved their bigger goals, and we are excited to see where the future takes them"
