Values, vision, and integrity are skills successful leaders embody. The Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University teaches the significance of these proficiencies and how to effectively develop them in its flagship Leadership Fellows Program. The newest class of Duquesne Kline School of Law Leadership Fellows celebrated their completion of this empowering, yearlong cohort at a ceremony on April 20.
The recognition event for 2025-26 Duquesne Kline School of Law Leadership Fellows was held at the Duquesne Club in downtown Pittsburgh. Dean April Barton celebrated the achievements of each of the 32 students who received their certificates of completion at the ceremony.
This is the seventh Duquesne Kline School of Law Leadership Fellows class to complete the program. Duquesne Kline School of Law’s Leadership Fellows Program was created in 2019 by Dean Barton. The distinctive Leadership Fellows Program adds intrinsic value to the law students’ degrees and is a marketplace differentiator.
“We are really proud of this year’s class who wanted to prepare for their careers by improving their leadership skills and developing the traits successful leaders possess. By taking the extra initiative to complete the program, they have already shown their willingness to grow and learn; I am confident they will empower others with their knowledge,” said Barton.
