The 2025 incoming class achieved a median LSAT score of 157, improving on last year’s score and placing it well above the 2023 incoming class score of 156. The median GPA of the 1L and 1E class also rose to 3.62, higher than last year’s 3.58, and higher than the 2023 incoming class median GPA of 3.52.

1L students represented 50 different undergraduate majors from 100 academic institutions. 36% of this exceptional 1L class is from out-of-state. The newest students in the 2025 class range in age from 20 to 56 years old, with 50% of the class comprised of women. Six veterans are enrolled and 79% of this class are first-generation law students.
Duquesne Kline School of Law proudly welcomes this unique class and looks forward to sharing the journey with these students toward becoming practice ready lawyers.
“This class is exceptional in its GPA and LSAT scores. More than that, these students are remarkable in their credentials, character, maturity, and their individual life experiences. This is an extremely impressive class who I trust will become ethically passionate and highly contributing members to our legal community,” said April Barton, Dean of Duquesne Kline School of Law.
