Due to delays with the 2024-2025 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (the FAFSA),
Duquesne has a plan to help you now. If you complete the CSS Profile, we promise you a financial aid estimate from Duquesne University within ten business
days. Duquesne's CSS Profile number is 2196.
You submit the FAFSA to see if you qualify for federal loans or grants—it's a good
idea to fill it out regardless of your financial circumstances, just to make sure
you know all your options.
Completing the FAFSA form is the only way to access the largest source of financial aid—federal student aid—to help you
pay for your education. Regardless of your circumstances, it's still a good idea to
fill it out as soon as you can.
How do the changes affect you? A video or two may help, but generally the new form will be shorter and more user-friendly. When you use
the form it will gather data directly from the IRS Direct Data Exchange and use new
formulas for calculating aid eligibility. Our financial aid office has more details on the changes and is ready to help!
