Biography

Alison Juram D'Addieco is Director of Executive Communications and Events in the Office of the President.

Prior to her current role, Alison served as Senior Director of Creative Services and Senior Editor at Carlow University. She previously served as a communications manager for the University of Pittsburgh and has vast experience as a freelance writer and editor for higher education and corporations throughout the Greater Pittsburgh area. For 10 years, Alison worked in New York City's book publishing industry as an editor, holding positions at Henry Holt and Company, Grove Press, and Simon and Schuster. Some of the books she's edited include Inside Ms.: 25 Years of the Magazine and the Feminist Movement by Mary Thom, Henry Holt and Co. 1997;  The Seasons of Rome by New York Times author Paul Hofmann, Henry Holt and Co. 1999; and Where the Road and the Sky Collide: America Through the Eyes of Its Drivers by K.T. Berger, Henry Holt and Co. 1993.

Alison earned a Master of Science degree in Education from Pace University, where she was awarded a Phi Delta Kappa Award for Excellence in Research, Service, and Leadership in Education. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication with honors from Bethany College.
