Biography
Andrew Yetzer is an adjunct professor of law at the Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University. He received his bachelor's degree in political science from Lycoming College. He earned his J.D. from the Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University in 2018. He has spent a majority of his career working in various non-profit legal aid organizations representing clients in domestic violence and family law matters. He also had various roles in juvenile court representing Children, Youth, and Families in Washington County as a Supervising Attorney, as well as a Parent Advocate with the Juvenile Court Project in Allegheny County. He is currently employed with the Allegheny County Courts as a Custody Hearing Officer in the Family Division. He presides over conciliations, interim relief hearings, partial custody hearings, and contempt hearings.
He currently teaches Legal Research and Writing at the law school.
In his spare time, he enjoys walks with his labradoodle, Sadie, as well as attending various musical theater performances in Pittsburgh.
