Biography

Audrey Hausig is a Board Certified Music Therapist. Through her practice, Philadelphia Music Therapy, Audrey engages in group and individual music therapy, clinical supervision, and continuing education. Audrey received Bachelor's and Master's of Music Therapy degrees from Temple University. She has been developing her practice of person centered, trauma-informed, culturally responsive music therapy for over two decades. Audrey facilitates music and verbal experiences within a therapeutic relationship to support people of all ages as they explore their strengths, needs, and goals. She has worked with people working on a variety of goals with a focus on mental illness, substance use disorders, trauma, end of life, and neurological impairments. Audrey has been privileged to bear witness to their courage, strength, and hope as they work towards increased wellness and wholeness. She plays guitar, bass guitar, violin, piano, drums, and sing. Audrey is committed to learning about how she benefits from oppressive systems, how they affect the people she works with, and how that impacts the therapy process.
