Biography

Ben Wecht is the program administrator of Duquesne University's Cyril H. Wecht Institute of Forensic Science and Law. He serves in an executive director capacity for an internationally acclaimed center of professional and general public education that offers seminars and conferences on current topics at the intersection of science, law and public policy. In this role, he develops and delivers educational content for both onsite and remote audiences, while also managing the conferral of appropriate continuing education credits.

A former newspaper reporter, magazine editor and marketing communications professional, Ben Wecht remains active as a freelance writer, currently specializing in feature stories related to science, the arts, economic development and education in and around the Pittsburgh region.
