Biography

Carly Tansimore is an experienced music educator with over a decade of experience teaching music in public and private school settings. She currently teaches K-3 general music at Pine-Richland School District, where she designs engaging, student-centered lessons that incorporate the Orff-Schulwerk and Feierabend approaches to foster creativity and musical understanding. In addition to her classroom work, she serves as a choral accompanist for the Pine-Richland Middle School Choir and formerly as a private piano instructor, supporting students’ performance and musicianship development across all levels.

Carly is pursuing her Master of Music Education at Kent State University and holds certifications in First Steps in Music and Orff-Schulwerk (Level 1). She is an active member of community choral ensembles Belle Voci and Solo Voci, where she continues to grow as both a performer and educator.
