Biography
Ms. Ruchka is the Coordinator of the Duquesne SON Learning and Simulation Center where she is responsible for managing lab schedules, facilitating student remediation, and collaborating with adjunct faculty to implement various learning opportunities. She works closely with the didactic faculty members to provide valuable skill competency teaching sessions and evaluations.
Ms. Ruchka joined Duquesne University in 2016 as an Adjunct Clinical Instructor. Prior working experience was gained at UPMC Mercy as a staff, charge, and float pool nurse on Med-Surg, Trauma, Burn, and Orthopedics units. She obtained her Associate Degree in Nursing from Community College of Allegheny County, her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from California University of Pennsylvania, and her Masters of Science in Nursing with an education concentration from Waynesburg University.
