Biography

Dr. Courtney Montepara received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2015 from Philadelphia College of Pharmacy. She then completed a post-graduate pharmacy practice residency at Atlantic Health System in Morristown, New Jersey followed by a cardiology pharmacy specialty residency at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. Additionally, Dr. Montepara earned a teaching certificate through the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University in Piscataway, New Jersey and is a board-certified cardiology pharmacist (BCCP).

Dr. Montepara joined Duquesne University School of Pharmacy in 2017 as an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice. As part of her faculty role, Dr. Montepara practices as a cardiology pharmacy specialist at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and serves as a preceptor for pharmacy students on their experiential rotations.
