Fr. John Osei-Yaw

Father John Osei Yaw, or Father "J.O.Y." for short, is from Ghana and was ordained a priest in 1999. As a Campus Minister, he serves students through celebrating Sacraments, (Eucharist, Confessions, etc.) and accompanying individuals in their spiritual, emotional, and psychological needs/journeys. Father J.O.Y. also assists with Bible Study, Spiritan Mission Experiences, and many other activities.

Father J.O.Y. obtained a Bachelor of Sacred Theology Degree from Urbaniana University, Rome. He also holds a Bachelor of Religious Studies Degree from Catholic University, Eastern Africa, and a Professional Diploma of Family Ministry from Loyola University, Ateneo, Manila, Philippines.

Father J.O.Y. completed training in Counseling Skills at the Institute of St. Anselm’s, Kent, United Kingdom and is currently pursuing a Master of Counseling Psychology Degree at Duquesne.
