Biography
Dr. Kala Findley received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) School of Pharmacy in 2010. She has spent her career in various settings including community and hospital, with the majority of her career in specialty pharmacy focused on rare and orphan diseases. Her passion for helping and guiding students led her to her current position with Duquesne University School of Pharmacy as Assistant Director of Experiential Education. In this position, Dr. Findley is a member of various committees and associations including the Allegheny County Pharmacist Association (ACPA) where she volunteers to mentor pharmacy students interested in advocacy for the pharmacy profession.
In her spare time, Dr. Findley prefers spending quiet evenings with her husband, two children, and their dog, Gary. She enjoys hiking, running, and daydreaming about living by the beach.
