Biography
Katie Mikula-Wineman is a lifelong theatre artist, designer and educator whose work centers on Theatre Production Design & Technology, creative mentorship, and the empowerment of emerging artists through hands-on learning and professional engagement.
Katie is dedicated to connecting students with professional resources, networking opportunities, and experiences that bridge the gap between academic study and future profession. As the former Prop Shop Manager at the Pittsburgh Playhouse at Point Park University, Katie brings extensive hands-on experience in production and collaborative creative practice to both the classroom and the stage. Katie continues as a freelance artist working around Pittsburgh with Front Porch Theatricals, Bricolage, and Hatch Arts Collective. She also serves as the Workshop Coordinator for Region 2 of the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival and supports educational opportunities for students and faculty across the region.
