Biography
Mrs. Kerr joined the School of Nursing at Duquesne University in August of 2024 as the Administrative Assistant for the Graduate DNP Programs. In this role, she supports the Chair of Advanced Practice, as well as the DNP Program Track Directors. Prior to joining Duquesne University, she spent several years teaching at the elementary level as well as coaching gymnastics. In her role as the Administrative Assistant for the Graduate DNP Programs, she assists with preparation and participation of accreditation activities, she provides support for graduate DNP curriculum committees, she assists with scheduling, room assignments, and logistical issues related to academic scheduling for graduate programs. She is key in organizing the nurse anesthesia student admission process and in communicating with students. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching sports, crafting and reading. She is an avid LSU sports fan.
