Biography

Kurt Wolfgang is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the Duquesne University School of Pharmacy.  He received his PharmD from Duquesne University in 2009 and completed a post-graduate pharmacy residency at Shands Jacksonville Medical Center (now UF Health Jacksonville).  Upon graduation he obtained a faculty position at Duquesne and has taught within several courses, including Therapeutics in the Critically Ill Patient, The American Healthcare System, and a series of Problem-Based Learning case study courses.  He currently serves as Chair of the Assessment Committee, faculty advisor to Duquesne's chapter of PSHP/SSHP, and is Director of Post-Graduate Preparation, focusing on students applying for post-graduate residencies and fellowships.  He maintains a clinical practice site at UPMC Shadyside Hospital in the Neuroscience and Surgical Intensive Care Units, and precepts students on APPE rotations throughout the year.
