Biography
Lauren Catalano Kochersperger is an adjunct professor of law at the Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University, as well as the Paralegal Institute at the Thomas R. Kline School of Law. She received her undergraduate degree, with high distinction, from The Pennsylvania State University in 2009 with a major in political science and minors in anthropology and English. She earned her J.D. from the Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University in 2012. She spent most of her career practicing law in various legal aid roles, including as a staff attorney at KidsVoice representing children in dependency court, and as a managing attorney at Summit Legal Aid (formerly Laurel Legal Services) focusing in family law and domestic violence representation.
She teaches legal research and writing at the law school. She also teaches professional responsibility for paralegals and legal writing and case analysis for paralegals.
She lives with her husband and two cats on the east end of town.
