Lucas Ladenburger

Dr. Lucas Ladenburger is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Palumbo-Donahue School of Business. He teaches courses in macroeconomics and statistics.
 
His research spans macroeconomics, spatial economics, and computational economics. Current projects examine how the shift to remote work is reshaping residential and commercial real estate markets, and how travel behavior and disease transmission interact when public health policy is set locally rather than nationally.
 
Methodologically, he specializes in large-scale computational and structural modeling, including dynamic programming and machine learning methods applied to economic models.
