Biography
Lynn MacBeth is an attorney, licensed professional counselor, and mediator. She is a founding board member of the Parenting Institute in Pittsburgh, PA, a non-profit organization that provides low-cost counseling services for parents and children in need of co-parenting and reunification counseling. She provides accredited Family Mediation Training and has trained hundreds of lawyers and other professionals in the art of mediation.
Ms. MacBeth is the author of the 2021 book, The Art of Family Mediation: Theory and Practice, 3rd Edition. Currently, Ms. MacBeth serves as a custody mediator for the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County, PA, a U.S. postal service mediator, a Parenting Coordinator, and conducts a variety of workshops and trainings on basic and advanced mediation.
