Biography

Maribeth is certified as a teacher of the Alexander Technique by the Alexander Foundation in Philadelphia. Her doctorate degree from the University of Pittsburgh focused on the discoveries of F.M. Alexander. She resided in London for nine months where she studied with over 20 Alexander teachers. She has given many presentations including a lecture in Ireland at the International Conference for Teachers of the Alexander Technique, for in-service days at elementary and high schools, and has been the speaker at many workshops, clinics, and conferences. Maribeth also taught classical voice and directed operas at Slippery Rock University along with her Alexander work there.
