Biography
Dr. Matthew Poremba is an Emergency Physician, EMS Physician, and Flight Physician at Allegheny Health Network. With board certifications in Emergency Medicine and Emergency Medical Services, he serves as the Medical Director of LifeFlight and as a faculty member for the Emergency Medicine Residency and EMS fellowship programs. Dr. Poremba is also an FAA Aviation Medical Examiner.
Dr. Poremba has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh. He later graduated from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his Emergency Medicine Residency and EMS Fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital.
Dr. Poremba finds joy in spending quality time with his wife and son. He also enjoys time flying airplanes.
