Biography
Samantha's title at the Counseling center is the Assistant Director/ Triage Coordinator. I have been working at Duquesne University Counseling Services for 10 years.
Samantha received her bachelors (BA) and masters degree (MSW) of Social Work at California University of PA. Currently, she is an practicing licensed social work (LSW).
Samantha provides walk in triage support sessions to students who are currently experiencing a psychological emergency. She also assist students with finding community mental health referrals in the surrounding Pittsburgh area.
Samantha believes that this age is such a crucial time for students to explore their developmental, relational, physical and emotional needs. Samantha has a passion to help support these students along their journey of individualization and self exploration.
