Biography

Shannon Baird is the Student Success Coach for students in the Pre-Professional phase of the PharmD program and for students pursuing a Bachelor’s in Pharmaceutical Sciences. In her role, she acts as the primary point of contact and academic advisor to students. She assists advisees as they register for classes, review plans of study, and she helps students keep track of their progress while they earn their degree. Shannon connects students to tools and resources from across campus as they navigate the transition to higher education, including referrals to support services when necessary.

She is also co-instructor for the pre-professional seminar courses and coordinates mentorship programs within the School of Pharmacy, assisting with the development, coordination, and delivery of course content and materials as students prepare for the Professional Phase.
