Biography

Duquesne has been Tamia's home away from home since 1993, from student to staff.

A double Duker, Tamia received a B.S. in Elementary Education in 1999 and M.S.  in Community Counseling in 2004, all while working at Duquesne University in the Office of Admissions for 23 years. She started as a part-time employee, then became the Recruitment Events Coordinator and, finally, Assistant Director of Recruitment Events and Admissions Counselor.

She transitioned to the Gussin Spiritan Division in 2021 as Office Manager, and is proud to be working at Duquesne for 25 years.
