Biography

As the Associate Vice President/Deputy Chief Information Officer/Chief Information Security Officer (AVP/DCIO/CISO) Tom Dugas is responsible for overseeing operations of Computing and Technology Services (CTS). CTS is Duquesne University’s central IT organization. As the AVP/DCIO/CISO, Tom oversees and directs the efforts of CTS, including the oversight of Information Security, Administrative Applications, IT Engineering & Operations and IT Service and Support Management. Tom is also an occasional Adjunct Professor of Cybersecurity in the McAnulty College of Liberal Arts.

Dugas is a member of the Greater Pittsburgh CISO Group Advisory Board, InfraGard Pittsburgh Board Director, Evanta CIO Advisory Board, Box Higher Educational Advisory Board, Palo Alto Higher Education Product Advisory Group, and Internet2 Cloud Scorecard Working Group.

Dugas serves on the following University committees: Tech Partners, Business Managers Council, Enterprise Computing Committee and Incident Response Team (Lead).
