Faculty and staff are encouraged to support Duquesne students by directing them to the Career Closet, a valuable resource that helps students make a strong first impression with potential employers.
Many students may not have access to business casual or professional attire, which can boost their confidence and presentation during job interviews and networking events. Duquesne’s Career Closet provides a selection of professional clothes in various sizes and styles for all genders.
Located in the Center for Career Development in Room 614 of the Union, the Career Closet welcomes drop-ins Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Please share the Career Closet as a resource with your students, and consider donating new or clean, gently worn professional attire. While the Closet is already well-stocked from prior donations, the following items are particularly needed:
- Men’s clothing (pants: 29-20-32 waist, small or medium white button-up shirts, dress shoes)
- Women’s clothing and accessories (dress shoes, earrings and necklaces)
- Plain portfolios.
