Web editors from departments and schools across campus will apply strategic webpage updates during an upcoming collaborative workshop to help key webpages reach prospective students and families when they search for relevant keywords.
Spring Webathon, a half-day initiative slated for Tuesday, May 14, is a collaboration of the Office of the Provost and the Division of Marketing and Communications.
The group will work together to identify and thoughtfully apply keywords that prospective students and families use to search for program information, as well as details related to tuition, admission, campus life and student opportunities.
The Spring Webathon is the third and latest bi-annual gathering of the campus-wide web community, continuing to make gains toward the University’s marketing, recruiting and enrollment goals. Previous webathon events have optimized priority webpages for Google search, user experience and best practices.
