Duquesne proudly hosted the 27th Annual Veterans Day Breakfast on Nov. 11, bringing together hundreds of veterans and community leaders to honor the service and sacrifices of those who have defended our nation.
The annual event featured heartfelt stories, laughter and gratitude, reminding attendees that veterans are never forgotten and never alone. In addition to President Ken Gormley, special guests Lt. Gov. Austin Davis and Congressman Chris Deluzio expressed appreciation, while organizers emphasized that this celebration is just the beginning of ongoing efforts to support veterans year-round.
Considered to be one of the largest Veterans Day breakfasts in Pennsylvania, this event brings together 500+ guests both in person and virtually—including veterans who served in WWII to the recent conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.
