Campus partners are invited to participate in new digital communication professional development sessions to improve their skills in social media, traditional media, web, marketing and design being offered by the Division of Marketing and Communications.

These monthly learning opportunities will educate and guide those who create and manage the marketing content that promotes the University’s programs, experiences and successes to prospective students and families—important work driven by colleagues in various roles across campus.

By attending the sessions, staff, faculty and leadership will gain a deeper understanding of industry best practices and expectations, and how our work aligns.

All Digital Content Matters

DMC’s Content Matters sessions deliver education, awareness, tips and “how-tos” to help produce web content that drives enrollment. Now, we're happy to expand these training and best practice opportunities by integrating two additional digital communication initiatives: Social Media Workgroup and Campus Communicators.

Register for the First New-Format Session

On WednesdayMarch 19, at 2 p.m., Social Media Director Ian Hurley will help you set social media goals and discuss how to establish key performance indicators (KPIs).

Setting goals and establishing parameters for how your social media content is performing are important for helping to guide your content strategy. This approach will focus your work, allow you to maximize your efficiency and help your area of campus achieve greater goals.

If you run social accounts or manage individuals who do, you’re strongly encouraged to “be in the know,” and register for this session.
