This year’s Heritage Week offers a meaningful opportunity for Duquesne University faculty, staff and students to honor our Catholic Spiritan legacy and the values that continue to shape our mission, values and vibrant community.
Hosted by the Division of Mission and Identity in collaboration with the Division of Student Life, this year’s events kick off with a new 5K run and also include a Heritage Week Luncheon with representatives from the Tengeru Boys School—a Spiritan institution in Northern Tanzania—who will share insights into their work and connection to the global Spiritan mission.
Additional highlights include:
- The University’s 147th birthday party on Academic Walk
- A special liturgy commemorating the founding of the Spiritans
- A wine tasting fundraiser to support Spiritan Missions abroad.
Heritage Week is a meaningful opportunity to reflect on Duquesne’s history, engage with our Spiritan partners and celebrate the values that unite our campus community.
