Join the School of Nursing at the 16th Annual McGinley-Rice Symposium on Justice for Vulnerable Populations, which will delve into the theme The Face of the Person Who is Abused.
Slated for Wednesday, Oct. 23, from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Power Center, this year’s event will shine a light on the many forms of abuse affecting individuals across the lifespan.
Through thought-provoking keynote, panel discussions and breakout sessions, the symposium will explore topics such as Protecting Our Children: The Path Forward; Bullying through the Lifespan; Advocating for Children Who Are Abused and Mandated to Report, Called to Support: Navigating Child Abuse Reporting with Trauma-Informed Care.
The McGinley-Rice Symposium continues to be a cornerstone event for advancing justice and compassion within the community. Faculty and staff from all disciplines are encouraged to attend and engage with leading experts in health care, education, social services and other and relevant fields.
