Duquesne Again Receives Voter Friendly Campus Designation

The Voter Friendly Campus program is designed to help institutions address the many challenges that prevent college students from participating in the political process and foster a culture of democratic engagement on their campuses, including in years without a national election. 
To earn the Voter Friendly Campus designation, campuses must submit a plan and report the results after implementing the plan for a general election.
 
As part of Duquesne’s effort to be a designated Voter Friendly Campus, the University hosted registration events throughout the Fall 2024 semester, including National Voter Registration Day (in partnership with League of Women Voters), Vote Early Day and a shuttle sponsored by Student Life to transport students to the polls.
