The University honored the Class of 2025 during Winter Commencement on Dec. 19 at the UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse. 

New Pittsburgh Mayor Corey O’Connor, a proud 2007 graduate of Duquesne’s School of Education, delivered the Commencement address, sharing his insights on leadership and service to the community.

President Ken Gormley also presented posthumous honorary bachelor’s degrees to Robert Bahl and Anne Schleder Bahl, the parents of Celeste Nasuti. She and her husband Jim Nasuti made a transformational gift in 2025 to name the Nasuti College of Osteopathic Medicine.
