The McAnulty College Campus Community Food Pantry and the Brother Keating Food Pantry have merged into one main campus location, now known as The McAnulty Keating Pantry.

Located in Room 347 of College Hall, the McAnulty Keating Pantry is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and is available to Duquesne students, faculty and staff. The Pantry offers fresh produce, shelf-stable food and personal care items, with no requirements or restrictions.

Co-sponsored by the McAnulty College and Graduate School of Liberal Arts and the Division of Student Life’s Brother Keating Initiative, the Pantry is staffed and supported by the University’s Migration Club and other volunteers.

School-specific pantries are also available in Nursing, Health Sciences and Law.

“The McAnulty College is honored to partner with the Division of Student Life in merging our pantries to serve as the main campus pantry in College Hall’s renovated pantry space,” said Liberal Arts Dean Dr. Kristine Blair. “This collaboration will sustain the support our campus provides to students, faculty and staff as we pool resources, including donations from the Pittsburgh Food Bank and the United Way, and expand our volunteer team.

“These efforts represent our shared Spiritan commitment to serve all members of our Duquesne community as we promote human dignity and well-being,” Blair added.

Associate Vice President for Student Life and Dean of Students Dr. Adam Wasilko said that merging the two Spiritan‑rooted pantries allows for more comprehensive support while staying true to the role they serve in the Duquesne community. “The McAnulty Keating Pantry is a shared resource for all, no questions asked, because flourishing is something we do together,” he explained. “This expanded effort reflects our mission to accompany one another with compassion and to meet people where they are.”
