From Darkness to Light: Mosaics of Healing and Hope

This international exhibit, which is currently on display at Gumberg Library’s Popular Reading Room, brings together 40 mosaic works by 36 artists from around the world, each responding to the 2018 Tree of Life Congregation tragedy in Pittsburgh. Through vibrant color, intricate texture and symbolic design, these mosaics trace a journey from grief to resilience, illuminating themes of hope, peace and healing. 

Additionally, this moving exhibit will be accompanied by special programs including talks and discussions designed to foster reflection and dialogue.

From Darkness to Light: Mosaics of Healing and Hope, which will be on display through Tuesday, March 31, was curated by Austin-based artist Susan Ribnick.
