Accommodations
Housing is provided through Duquesne University. In Cologne, we will stay at the central location of CityClass Hotel in Heumarkt. Students will be primarily housed in double rooms with a few in single rooms or suites with private bathrooms, including breakfast and within walking distance of the city's main sights, shopping, dining and the classroom building. Wireless access is provided.
Individuals requiring special accommodations should contact the program director so that we can make any necessary arrangements. In Cologne classes will meet at the Institute for American Law on the campus of the University of Cologne, which is within walking distance to the city center. The classroom offers wireless access with a projector and screen, and holds up to 25 students. Visitors with disabilities can be accommodated.
Travel
- All students must have a valid passport.
- All students must have health insurance.
- Students are responsible for making their own travel arrangements to and from Germany.
- Duquesne University will not be responsible for any personal injury, property damage or illness encountered by participating students during the program. All students are advised to purchase appropriate medical, accidental and travel insurance.
