Law & Politics Minor

Duquesne's Law & Politics minor is built for students who want to understand how law and government intersect. This minor is a strong choice for anyone considering law school or a career touching legal policy, regulation, or civil rights. The 15-credit program draws from a dedicated political science course list covering constitutional law, civil liberties, human rights, and the legal profession, with the option to apply up to 6 credits from approved courses in Philosophy, Business Law, Forensic Science, Health Management, Pharmacy, and Physical Therapy.

This minor is open to non-Political Science majors, and its cross-disciplinary course options make it especially popular with pre-law students majoring in business, health sciences, forensic science, and the humanities.
