Biography

Inessa Beylin, a Russian born pianist and vocal coach. is an active performer in the Pittsburgh musical arena. Ms. Beylin appeared with Pittsburgh Concert Society and collaborated on several productions with Opera Theatre of Pittsburgh, including Summer and Smoke, Le Nozze di Figaro, and Die Fledermaus. As a faculty member of International Vocal Arts Institute in Italy and Israel, Ms. Beylin coached young professionals, performed fully staged operas (to name a few Die Zauberflöte, Il Barbiere di Sevilia, Il Matrimonio Segreto), and accompanied masterclasses with such artists as Sherrill Milnes, Justino Diaz, Mignon Dunn, Martina Arroyo, Ira Siff, and Maria Chiara. A graduate of Mussorgsky College in St. Petersburg (Russia), she also holds degrees from Tel Aviv University (B.M.) and Brooklyn College (M.M). Ms. Beylin is currently on the faculty at Mary Pappert School of Music at Duquesne University.
