Biography

Janet Hayes is a highly innovative and goal-oriented professional with extensive experience in consulting, project management, operational excellence, marketing, training, information analytics, strategic planning, change management, negotiations and the practical application of technology. She excels at managing complex initiatives, thriving in uncertain situations, applying systems thinking, creating new functions and facilitating consensus. She has worked professionally in the US, Canada, Asia and Europe.

Janet has had a highly successful career with key leadership roles at IBM Corporation, GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) Consumer Healthcare and Harmonic Systems Consulting (HSC). She has worked with over 200 organizations in multiple industries.  She is currently a Partner at TransforMEDx, LLC (TMx), a population health consultancy, and President of Pro-Solv Group, LLC, a management consulting firm.

As a professor, Janet strongly believes that using sound practices is critical to transform healthcare and better serve all constituents and stakeholders.  To that end, she teaches Project Management in Healthcare and Healthcare Marketing at both the undergraduate and graduate levels so that our future healthcare leaders are familiar with best practices and can excel in their roles.

Janet also believes in giving back to the communities in which she lives and works.  She also supports efforts to improve conditions, opportunities and health for minorities and women.  Doing so improves the social determinants of health in those communities, so she is and has been active throughout her career in organizations that promote wellbeing for others in the community and the world.
