Biography

Laura Reynolds earned her Bachelor of Music degree with an emphasis in piano performance from Wayne State University, an Artist Diploma from Conservatorio Antonio Scontrino in Italy, and a Master of Music degree with an emphasis in piano performance from the University of South Florida. Laura has performed solo and collaborative recitals throughout Europe and North America.

Before moving to Pittsburgh in 2015, Laura held private teaching positions in Michigan, Florida, and Illinois. While living in Chicago, Laura worked as an accompanist with the Lyric Opera of Chicago.

Since moving to Pittsburgh, Laura has worked with Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre as an accompanist and as a Director of Music for two churches. In 2021, Laura joined the piano faculty at Duquesne University as an adjunct instructor in the piano department. She has a private piano studio in the Greenfield neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Laura is a member of Music Teachers National Association, Pennsylvania Music Teachers Association, and Pittsburgh Pittsburgh Piano Teachers Association.
