Biography
Dr. Misook Heo is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics & Computer Science. She earned both her Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in Information Science from University of Pittsburgh. Her teaching portfolio includes prior experience in information technology and educational technology programs, and she currently teaches courses in data science and statistics.
Dr. Heo’s research examines how social, cognitive (especially spatial ability) and motivational factors interact to affect learning in multimedia environments. She is a Fulbright Scholar.
