Biography
Stephanie received a Bachelor's degree in chemistry from Hood College and a Ph.D. in analytical chemistry from the American University. Stephanie was an NRC post-doctorial fellow at the National Institute of Standards and Technology in Gaithersburg, MD, where she characterized synthetic polymers using MALDI mass spectrometry.
In 2004, Stephanie returned to Pittsburgh to teach in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Duquesne University. She teaches analytical and forensic chemistry courses and directs student research in these fields. Stephanie also assists with management of the mass spectrometry facilities.
