Web editors from departments and schools across campus strategically refreshed key content pieces on webpages throughout the University’s website during the Spring Webathon on May 13, continuing to ensure a rich, high-quality web experience for prospective students and families.

The biannual webathon, a collaborative half-day workshop held on campus, is hosted in partnership with the provost’s office and the Division of Marketing and Communications.

The University’s website is a primary engine for marketing, recruitment and other business functions. Web editors gather twice a year to make meaningful, collective web updates that reflect and impact the University’s goals. This spring, the group refreshed in-the-moment images to reflect the student experience and elevated stories that highlight positive student experiences and alumni outcomes.

The webathon was the fifth bi-annual gathering of the campus-wide web community, continuing to make gains toward the University’s marketing, recruiting and enrollment goals. Previous webathon events have optimized priority webpages for Google search, user experience and best practices.
